I personally like playing video games a lot as it would be my form of entertainment and keeping myself occupied, that’s why the boy has a controller in his hand. The boy looking outside the blurry window is a way of showing how I wanted to go outside, not knowing what I wanted to do thus the blurry window. I wanted to go outside as I have grown tired of video games and wanted a different taste of entertainment that could give me the same feeling. And the dark room is showing how it was what I knew at the time and how it felt like it resonated with me.
